Cat: That depends on where you are going.

Alice: I don’t know where I’m going!

Cat: Then it doesn’t matter which way you go!!

Does this fit your organization? Businesses, schools, churches, cities, counties and other organizations need to use a strategic planning process to assure future success. It is a process designed to guide leaders of an organization in envisioning its’ future and developing the necessary procedures and operations to achieve that future. These questions need to be addressed: (1) Where are we now? (2) Where do we want to be? (3) How will we get there? and (4) Who must do what?

If you are interested in conducting a strategic planning session for your organization, we can assist you. We can provide training in how to conduct planning sessions or we can plan and facilitate the session for you. Experience has shown that the session is more effective if conducted off-site at a retreat. The results would be the development of the organization’s vision for the future, specific objectives and strategies for achievement of the objectives and vision.

An old Sioux proverb says, “ If you don’t know where you’re going, any path will take you there”. Don’t let your organization proceed without a strategic plan for the future.
